Zoom Video Communications reported unexpectedly better figures in the first quarter. The American company posted a net profit of $ 15.4 million, or $ 0.05 earnings per share. Analysts had expected a loss.
Sales improved year-over-year from $1.07 billion to $1.11 billion.
For the current second quarter, Zoom expects revenue of $1.11 to $1.12 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $1.04 to $1.06.
The stock was up 2 percent in aftermarket trading on Monday.
