The edgy new single has been a mainstay of Mau P’s recent performances in Europe, the US and South America, and has since become an online sensation. The sultry new track is only the third solo release in Mau P’s discography, na Drugs From Amsterdam and the more recent tech-house hit song Gimme That Bouncewhich came out in January.

“One day I woke up and I got the idea to use the sound of people having sex as a structure for a song, so I started experimenting with it in the studio. I combined a somewhat heavier Mau P techno sound with a girl moaning louder and louder until she reached orgasm. I love how people are triggered by it. At first it was a bit awkward on the dance floor when I played it, but after a few times we all gave in and it feels like the song crossed another line,” says Mau P about the creative process behind Your Mind Is Dirty.

Since the release of his debut song Drugs From Amsterdam Mau P has become one of the most talked about artists in the house and techno scene. The DJ and producer has released a string of hits, including an official remix for Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s miracle. Your Mind Is Dirty is the latest addition to an impressive repertoire of tracks and is co-signed by John Summit, who was eager to include Mau P on his record label.
