Vinícius Júnior was sent off for the first time in his professional career on Sunday evening with a red card. The Brazilian wing attacker of Real Madrid was able to go deep into stoppage time in the away match against Valencia (1-0 defeat), after he dealt a tap to direct opponent Hugo Duro. Vinícius Júnior was provoked by the Valencia players after he had previously been racially abused by the home side’s supporters, and finally reacted, after which referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea showed him the red card. The star player of Real Madrid could not believe his eyes and finally applauded cynically.
