Dine among flora and fauna

Hoe and rake ready, because Sandringham is hosting a banquet especially for garden lovers. For 120 pounds (approximately 138 euros) you can dine with gardeners from Sandringham Estate, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Dumfries House as a guest. You don’t want to miss that!

The banquet will take place on June 7 in the restaurant on the royal estate and you will be served the tastiest dishes. The four-course dinner consists of ingredients that come from the various royal gardens, including honey, rhubarb and herbs.

“Dinner will be served on Chelsea porcelain – a botanical porcelain, a design closely derived from a large collection acquired by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother,” a Sandringham spokesperson said. Tatler. Leave your dungarees and rain boots at home, as the Sandringham website states that the dress code is formally comfortable. Harpist Caroline Hall is on hand to musically accompany the guests.

Sandringham in Bloom

The Sandringham banquet is part of a nine-day flower festival called Sandringham in Bloom. The event will run from June 3 to 11, and there will be activities for both children and adults. According to the website, the event will take place in all areas of Sandringham, the courtyard gardens and facilities.

Also on display will be a floral arrangement of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation robes, dedicated to the late monarch and created by a team of 24 flower arrangers. “The Robe is a combination of Pampas grass, Ruscus leaves, ferns and Helichrysum flowers,” the website explains.

In addition, there will also be an exhibition of King Charles’ watercolors, which are part of the ‘twilight evening tours’. In short, plenty to do!
