Queen Rania opens the book about the coronation of King Charles

For the coronation of King Charles, a lot of royal houses were on the guest list, including the King and Queen of Jordan. But how did they actually experience it? Queen Rania gives us a helping hand, and does a candid interview People magazine.

Beautiful and unforgettable experience

The historic coronation was already special to watch on television, but it must have been even more special within the hallowed walls of Westminster Abbey. So all eyes were on the royal guests, and Queen Rania is not afraid to say anything about it. At People magazine she described the coronation as a “beautiful and unforgettable” experience, explaining that she was struck by how the ceremony struck “the perfect balance” of “solemnity, spectacle and spirituality.”

The Queen even admitted she shed a tear when Charles was crowned. “It was impossible not to be moved by the significance of the moment and the sense that we were witnessing the start of a new era for the UK,” said Rania.

Own stamp

She also enjoyed seeing King Charles ‘put his own stamp’ on the king. By this she refers to the representatives of different religions who were given a role in the ceremony.

Queen Camilla can also squeeze her hands, because the Jordanian queen also had praise for her. She described Camille as a “constant source of support for His Majesty” who “has proven to be an incredible asset to her family and her country.” You can put it in your pocket!
