Belgium scores relatively poorly when it comes to mobile data: gigabytes are even more expensive in only a handful of other countries in Europe, according to a study by price comparator HelloSafe.
The average price per gigabyte of mobile data in Belgium is currently 2.99 euros. Germans pay 2.66 euros per GB, Luxembourgers 2 euros and Dutch people 1.89 euros.
France pays thirteen times less for their data than the Belgians. Italy takes the cake with 0.12 euros per gigabyte.
There are more expensive countries: In Switzerland you pay 7.32 euros and ub Finland: 5.98 euros.
Outside Europe, Israel has the cheapest mobile internet at only 0.04 euros per gigabyte. Yemen is the most expensive with a price per GB of 16.51 euros.
