With the Always-on display exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro, the screen is always on. The brightness of the screen is automatically adjusted to a dark display, including the background. Yet you can easily read the time, but also view your widgets and notifications.
The content is refreshed at 1Hz so that it remains current, but saves battery. If you prefer not to use the always-on screen, you can disable it. In addition, it is good to know that Apple also automatically switches off the screen in certain situations.
