‘Feyenoord wants 25 million euros for Arne Slot’

Feyenoord will take a hard line in the negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur about Arne Slot. The coach is still with the Rotterdammers until 2025 and if the Londoners want to take him over, a lot will have to be paid. The Algemeen Dagblad reports this.

Feyenoord will talk to agent Rafaela Pimenta on Wednesday and then wants to get clarity. If Slot bets on a switch to North London, Spurs will have to get over the bridge seriously. According to the newspaper, the Eredivisie champion will take a ‘hard line’.

The AD quotes that Chelsea paid eighteen million euros to Brighton & Hove Albion for Graham Potter, who has already left. In 2021, Bayern Munich even deposited 25 million euros for Nagelsmann, who came over from RB Leipzig. “In De Kuip they find Slot de Nederlandse Nagelsmann and so, if it is up to the policymakers of the national champion, any buyout must also be at that level,” it sounds.

Earlier it became clear that the clause in Slot’s contract is not yet valid this summer. He is also fixed until mid-2025, so that Feyenoord is in control. A ‘gigantic lump sum’ will have to be paid, the AD concludes.
