Three youth players signed a contract with Beerschot on Wednesday afternoon. Benjamin Kaissi, Keano De Stobbeleir and Lukas Rocha Torres will all stay longer at ‘t Kiel. This is how Beerschot reinforces its ambition to further invest in its own youth.
Benjamin ‘Benji’ Kaissi is about to start his tenth season at Beerschot. He completed preparations with the first team last season. The right back played almost all matches with the U23 this season. He will also start the upcoming preparation with the first team.
Keano De Stobbeleir and Lukas Rocha Torres both joined the U18 for the first time. They will start their third and fourth seasons at Beerschot respectively in July. Midfielder Keano De Stobbeleir also started the preparation with the A-squad last season and then played matches with the U18 and U23.
Striker Lukas Rocha Torres started the season with the U23 and then fell out with an injury. He played with both the U23 and the U18 after his rehabilitation. He also trained with the first team in February.
