Adults at risk of poverty are more likely to be obese and have diabetes

Almost a quarter of adults with overweight and a long-term low income have diabetes

In 2021, half of the population aged 18 or older will be overweight. Overweight, serious overweight (obesity) and diabetes are more common among adults with an income below the low-income threshold than among adults with a higher income.
