Accident on the A7 between Scheemda and the Zuidbroek interchange

Scheemda – The emergency services were called to an accident on the A7 between Scheemda and Zuidbroek on Monday morning around 05:00. The accident happened in the direction of travel from Groningen, at hectometre marker 228.6.

The driver lost control of the car for unknown reasons. The emergency services turned out en masse, including a trauma helicopter. The driver was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. A recovery company recovered the vehicle. Due to the accident, the A7 between exit Scheemda and Zuidbroek was closed for some time.
